Abstract

Der Artikel „Festivalseelsorge als neuer Topos kategorialer Seelsorge“ zeigt die wachsende Bedeutung der Festivalseelsorge als innovatives und zukunftsweisendes Feld der Pastoraltheologie auf. Festivals sind in einer zunehmend säkularisierten Gesellschaft, die vielfach durch die Eventisierung geprägt ist, ein beliebter und identitätsstiftender Ort, an dem Menschen das Leben miteinander teilen. Anhand von kontextuellen Schlaglichtern und der Beschreibung der Kategorialseelsorge als Bezugsrahmen für Festivalseelsorge wird gezeigt, dass diese viel pastoraltheologisches Potenzial birgt. So wird die Notwendigkeit unterstrichen, die Festivalseelsorge weiterzuentwickeln sowie kirchlich zu fördern, da sie einen wichtigen Beitrag für eine anschlussfähige Ausrichtung kirchlicher Seelsorge bietet.

The article “Festival pastoral care as a new topos of categorical pastoral care” shows the growing importance of festival pastoral care as an innovative and forward-looking field of pastoral theology. In an increasingly secularized society, which is often characterized by eventization, festivals are a popular and identity-forming place where people share life together. Using contextual highlights and the description of categorical pastoral care as a frame of reference for festival pastoral care, it is shown that it holds a great deal of pastoral theological potential. The necessity of further developing festival pastoral care and promoting it within the church is thus emphasized, as it offers an important contribution to a compatible orientation of church pastoral care.
