Versuch über die postkoloniale Machtkritik pastoraltheologischer Standards

Abstract

Spätestens seit der Eskalation des Nahostkonflikts gilt postkoloniale Theorie als banale Polarisierung des Denkens mit antisemitischen Anteilen. Das aber wird der differenzierten Analyse von Verflochtenheiten und Machtdynamiken nicht gerecht, wie sie sich im Dazwischen zum Globalen Süden entwickelt hat. Nach einer kurzen Skizze zur (pastoral)theologischen Rezeption werden am Beispiel der Dekonstruktion des Container-Wir und der Verkomplizierung diakonischer Rettungsmuster die Potenziale eines post/dekolonialen Reflexionsschubs erörtert. Der Beitrag endet mit der exemplarischen Frage, wer eigentlich global für und als Kirche spricht: Wer ist das wir der Weltkirche?

Since the escalation of the Middle East conflict at the latest, postcolonial theory has been regarded as a banal polarisation of thought with anti-Semitic elements. However, this does not do justice to the differentiated analysis of entanglements and powerdynamics that has developed in between the Global South. After a brief outline of the (pastoral) theological reception, the potential of a post/decolonial thrust of reflection is discussed using the example of the deconstruction of the container-‘we’ and the complication of diaconal salvation patterns. The article ends with the exemplary question of who actually speaks globally for and as the church: Who is the ‘we’ of the global church?
