Welche Rolle spielt die Bibel im pastoraltheologischen Diskurs?
Ergebnisse einer empirischen Untersuchung ausgewählter Jahrgänge der PThI/ZPTh
Abstract
Dieser Beitrag stellt die Ergebnisse einer an der Wissenssoziologischen Diskursanalyse orientierten
qualitativen Studie von drei Jahrgängen der Pastoraltheologischen Informationen (35.1–36.2) bzw. der
Zeitschrift für Pastoraltheologie (37.1–37.2) dar. Die Untersuchung widmete sich der Frage, wie die
Bibel in den Artikeln als Gegenstand und Instrument des pastoraltheologischen Diskurses konstruiert
wird. Das heißt: Welche Charakteristika werden der Bibel zugeschrieben? Was, d.h. welche Bibelstellen und biblischen Motive, wird wie, d.h. mit welchen Methoden und hermeneutischen Ansätzen,
wozu verwendet? Es zeigt sich, dass die Bibel im pastoraltheologischen Diskurs hohe Relevanz hat und
vielfach verwendet wird. Zugleich wird die Notwendigkeit eines verstärkten Austauschs zwischen Pastoraltheologie und Exegese sowie einer vertieften Auseinandersetzung mit der Art des Umgangs mit
der Bibel in der Pastoraltheologie deutlich.
This article presents the results of a qualitative study based on a type of discourse analysis, i.e. the
Wissenssoziologische Diskursanalyse, of three years of Pastoraltheologische Informationen (35.1-
36.2), later called Zeitschrift für Pastoraltheologie (37.1-37.2). The study tries to answer the question
how the articles construct the Bible as a subject and as an instrument of the discourse of Pastoral
Theology. This means: Which characteristics does the discourse of Pastoral Theology attribute to the
Bible? What, i.e. which biblical passages and themes, is used how, i.e. with which methods and approaches, and what for in the argumentation of the articles? It can be seen that the Bible is of high
relevance for the discourse of Pastoral Theology and frequently used. However, the study also detects
the necessity of increased dialogue between Pastoral Theology and Exegesis as well as an in-depth
reflection on the use of biblical references in Pastoral Theology.
