Historische Religionspädagogik mit Pierre Bourdieu - Ein Beitrag zur Ausbildung wissenschaftlicher Reflexivität

Abstract

Die Geschichte der katholischen Religionspädagogik ist nicht nur die Geschichte theoretischer Konzepte,
sondern ebenso die Beziehungsgeschichte einer Gruppe von Akteur_innen und Institutionen, die
zu einer Scientific Community wurden. Auf den folgenden Seiten wird ein Vorschlag entwickelt, wie
die Wissenschaftssoziologie Pierre Bourdieus als heuristischer Rahmen zur Erforschung der Disziplingeschichte
katholischer Religionspädagogik zwischen 1965 und 1975 angewendet werden kann. Die
Feldtheorie Pierre Bourdieus wird schließlich als Beitrag zur Förderung wissenschaftlicher Reflexivität
diskutiert, von der auch die religionspädagogische Praxis profitieren kann.
The history of research in religious education is far more than the development of theoretical concepts.
It is also the history of the relations between a group of social actors and institutions as well as
their strategies of building a collective identity as a scientific community. This article discusses the
possible benefits of applying Pierre Bourdieu’s sociology of science as a heuristic frame for the study
of catholic religious education between 1965 and 1975. It argues that a deeper knowledge of the development
of religious education as a scientific field can promote a culture of reflexivity within research
and educational practice.
