Gottes Gaben für den Aufbau der Kirche. Ungehobene Schätze neutestamentlicher Ekklesiologie

Abstract

„Ohne eine historische Situierung, die immer eine Relativierung bedeutet, ist keine theologische Orientierung
zu gewinnen.“ Daher wird im folgenden Artikel der Frage nach dem Wert einer Rückbesinnung
auf das Neue Testament für eine gegenwärtige Ekklesiologie und Pastoraltheologie nachgegangen.
Der Blick auf die konfessionell wie theologisch differierenden Wertungen der Paulustradition soll
eine problembewusste Lektüre fördern. Dem Modell der Charismenorientierung des Ersten Korintherund
des Römerbriefes wird das Modell der bischöflichen Leitung der Pastoralbriefe gegenübergestellt.
Wenn Stärken und Schwächen der Modelle in ihren Kontexten beleuchtet werden, wird klar, dass das
ekklesiologische Potenzial des Neuen Testaments in der katholischen Kirche bislang nicht ausgeschöpft
worden ist. Die paulinische Charismenlehre hält neue Chancen für die gegenwärtige Ekklesiologie
bereit und dient so dem Dialog mit einer sich verändernden Gesellschaft.

„Without historical embedding, which always means putting something into perspective, it’s not possible
to gain theological orientation.“ The article investigates the value of returning to the New Testament
for the current debates in ecclesiology and pastoral theology. The perspective on the different
denominational and theological reception of the tradition of St. Paul can contribute to a better reading
of the texts. The contribution will compare the model of the charismatic orientation of First Corinthians
and of the Letter to the Romans with the model of the episcopal order of the Pastoral Letters. If
the strong and weak points of each model are marked it can be seen that the ecclesiological potential
of the New Testament is not yet exhausted in the Catholic Church. The Pauline teachings on the
charisms offers new chances for the current debates in ecclesiology and continues the dialogue with a
diversifying society.
