Friedensethik im 21. Jahrhundert – ein Bericht zur deutschsprachigen Literatur

Abstract

Peace Ethics is on the way from its former marginal position in social and political ethics to a center position. A permanent process of clarifying its self-conception and task is indispensable. Currently very dominant within peace ethics is the discourse on the Just Peace paradigm. Further discourses, like the request for the peace-ethical importance and implications of regime and power as well as of violence and law, have attached themselves to this task. Furthermore, we need to inquire as to the standing and output of theology for peace-ethical reflections, orientations and debates.
