Open Access

The ULB pursues the goal of sustainably supporting and strengthening research and teaching in the areas of scientific publishing, digitisation and research data in the sense of Open Science with its activities.

The foundation for research and interdisciplinary work is free and direct access to scientific information. The University of Münster, therefore, sees Open Access publishing models as a forward-looking opportunity to ensure the optimal dissemination of research results and, at the same time, to provide all people with free and equal access to specialist scientific information and literature.

The ULB strongly recommends the publication of the associated digital research data and additional materials for the purpose of sustainable support of Open Access and Open Science.
