In March 2015, the Center for Professor Overhoff and his team at the German-American Educational History spent 10 days in the US. Philadelphia, Indianapolis and South Bend were the most important stops of this journey. Vibrant discussions with colleagues, students, and archivists at UPenn at IUPUI in Indianapolis on topics regarding German-American educational history in general and on our own research objectives made this stay most productive. This intense exchange of ideas also opened up possibilities for future collaboration.
