eScience Münster University

Whereas in the past "e" stood for an electronic revolution, in eScience it stands for an "enhanced" science. Above all, the fast and joint processing of large amounts of data and the growing possibilities for visualization suggest new research questions. In addition, eScience promotes collaborative and interdisciplinary research.

The initiative "eScience Universität Münster", supported by the Center for Information Technology (CIT) of Münster University and the University and State Library (ULB), aims to structurally establish a virtual competence and service center. This will ensure a continuous range of digital services in the area of eScience and enable the constant further development of corresponding offers for research and teaching.
