Research Assistant (E 13 TV-L)
The Business Chemistry Group at the University of Münster is seeking to fill a research assistant position (E 13 TV-L) with 65% of the regular weekly working hours in the third-party funded project BEMA.On. The position is initially limited to 3 years, but can be extended in the context of a doctorate.
About our Institute:
We combine expertise in chemistry, management and technology to address ecological and economic challenges in the chemical industry and related sectors. We conduct interdisciplinary research in four related fields: 1) Innovation and Technology Management, 2) Electrochemical Energy Storage Technology, 3) Sustainability and Circular Economy, 4) Business Models. Our study programmes include the interdisciplinary Master's degree course in Business Chemistry.
Your tasks:
- Independent realisation of research work in the field of business chemistry
- Participation in research collaborations
- The position is associated with the realisation of a doctoral project.
Our expectations:
- A completed scientific university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in Business Chemistry, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Chemistry or a comparable field is required.
- Basic knowledge of academic research practice and a good command of English are desirable.
- We value industrial internships or experience abroad very highly.
- Teamwork and communication skills as well as the ability to manage projects independently are essential.
- Initial experience in the ecological evaluation of products or the strategic analysis of patents is welcome, but not necessary
