We are hiring new PhD students!

The IfbM at the University of Münster is seeking to fill 3 research assistant positions (E13 TV-L) with 65% of the regular weekly working hours as soon as possible. The positions are initially limited to 3 years, but can be extended in the context of a doctorate. The full-time teaching commitment is 4 SWS.

Your tasks:

Your work will focus on research and project work, in particular in the areas of market analysis, life cycle assessment and technology assessment in the field of electrochemical energy storage, e.g. lithium-ion or sodium-ion batteries, as well as in relation to their business fields and production technologies for manufacturing the required components. In addition, you will support our team in teaching in the form of seminars and exercises, as well as supervising seminar papers and master's theses. Active participation in the activities of the chair is expected. The position is linked to the realisation of a PhD project.

Our expectations:

You have successfully completed a Master's degree in the field of Business Chemistry or Chemistry. A focus on electrochemical energy storage technology, its business models and associated production technologies, and possibly an empirical thesis or similar in this area would be an advantage. A good command of English and the ability to use common software products are required.
