Data Science and Complexity
The Center for Nonlinear Science (CeNoS) serves as a central scientific institution for interdisciplinary networking in research, teaching and transfer at the University of Münster in the fields of data science, complex systems, artificial intelligence, machine learning and mathematical modeling. It picks up on current developments and systematically anchors them in research and teaching in order to further expand its competitiveness and attractiveness as a research and study location. In research, interdisciplinary exchange is supported by conferences, workshops and joint projects. In teaching, CeNoS serves as a university-wide platform that bundles existing offerings and promotes the development of new, interdisciplinary formats. The transfer into practice is also strengthened by promoting cooperation with external partners and intensifying the exchange between research and industry. CeNoS will also make current topics accessible to a broad public.
