BACCARA represented at the “Battery Day NRW”
What is the concept of the International Graduate School for Battery Chemistry, Characterization, Analysis, Recycling and Application “BACCARA” and where does the International Graduate School, funded by the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, currently stand? Dr. Kerstin Neuhaus, Managing Director of BACCARA, will provide answers to these and other questions in presentation at the “Battery Day NRW” on 27 April 2021.
BACCARA – Cutting-Edge Research and Education
Founded in July 2020 a distinct feature of the International Graduate School is the synergetic combination of basic and applied research, motivating and preparing young scientists for future careers in science and industry. BACCARAs comprehensive research programme covers the fields of materials science, (macro-)molecular chemistry, electrochemistry, catalysis and battery cell research for energy storage as well as life cycle analysis and recycling. Founding partners of BACCARA are the MEET Battery Research Center, the Department of Chemistry and Pharmacy of the University of Münster and the Helmholtz Institute Münster of Forschungszentrum Jülich.
Conference enables exchange and dialogue
On 27 April 2021, the various research activities of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia will be presented at the annual “Battery Day NRW”, which is affiliated to the International Conference "Advanced Battery Power". The conference will take place this year from 28 to 29 April 2021 and for the second time as an online event.
