Abstract

Acoustic pyrometry is a tomographic technique for measuring the temperature distribution of gas. As the number of lines is very small, collocation methods with smooth ansatzfunctions lead to a sufficiently fast reconstruction algorithm. The resulting system of linear equations is solved using the method of Tikhonov-Phillips. Two simple but effective methods for including a priori information are presented and applied to artificial and to measured data.
