Register Now: New CIT Lectures in Winter Semester 2025/26

The CIT is offering four new lectures on current IT topics in the winter semester 2025/26. The courses "Introduction to Programming with R" and "Introduction to Statistics with R" provide an introduction to R and statistics. In the area of audiovisual media skills, the courses "AI-Supported Video Production" and "Create to Impact – Social Media Videos with Quality and Impact" strengthen the offer. Registration for the entire winter semester course program is already open.

git.nrw Starts at Münster University: Software Development and Project Management Beyond University Boundaries

We are pleased to announce that git.nrw is going into pilot operation at the University of Münster. With the new cross-university service, the CIT is replacing the existing GitLab service - also operated locally in the University of Münster network. git.nrw is based on the well-known version control system GitLab, which is used for exchanging software code and data and for collaborative work on software projects. Staff and students can use git.nrw from now on.

CIT Employee Jonathan Radas Talks About UniGPT and JupyterHub.nrw at TechLabs

Jonathan Radas (CIT) gives insights into his work at UniGPT and JupyterHub.nrw as part of a speaker event organized by TechLabs Münster e.V.. TechLabs Münster offers training in the fields of data science, deep learning, web development and UX design on a non-profit basis.

Two other tech experts, Prof. Tim Hahn (Machine Learning and Predictive Analytics, University of Münster) and Patricia Wiesker (Lead Consultant, zweitag), will also be represented at the event.

The event will take place on Tuesday, May 20 at 19:00 at REACH (Geiststraße 24) in Münster. Participation is free of charge, but please register at ms.techlabs.org as places are limited.

From 01.04.2025, we will discontinue the sale of IT eBooks via Leibnitz University Hannover. However, part of the offer can still be accessed via the online catalog of the ULB.
