Werner Krawietz / Sabine Rogge (Eds), Political and Legal System of the Republic of Cyprus -  A Selfreferential and Comparative Approach to Law (German-Cypriot Symposium at the University of Münster), in: Rechtstheorie 34, Issue 1, 2003, Special Edition “Zypern” (Berlin: Verlag Duncker & Humboldt)

The published contributions in this volume resulted from the two-day, bilateral, German-Cypriot conference on the legal system of the Republic of Cyprus which took place at the Westphalian Wilhelms-University Münster in October 2001. This conference, initiated by the Cyprus-Institute in Münster, brought together senior law experts from Cyprus and Germany for an exchange of ideas. Central to the discussion were comparative aspects and the approximation problems of the Cypriot law system in October 2001 in view of the upcoming – but meanwhile implemented – accession of Cyprus.
