Research Platform II "Decision-making in theories of power and violence"

A premise of the research programme of SFB 1150 is that cultures of decision-making are constitutively linked with respective structures of political-social order and power. It is essential in this context to discuss in greater detail the role that can be ascribed to power and particularly to physical violence. Since this association of decision-making with power / violence should be a future priority for the centre’s research, this second research platform aims to discuss the relevant theoretical approaches while examining how they might empirically prove fertile for the research of SFB 1150.
